A Toddler Room for Growing Independence
The Sprout Room is a sweet in-between stage. Children are still little, but they are beginning to understand routines, explore friendships, and practice doing more on their own.
In this part time toddler program, teachers gently help children participate in group time, follow simple directions, share with friends, use words to communicate, and build confidence throughout the day.
The goal is not to rush them. Instead, we help each child feel safe, supported, and proud as they grow. For this reason, the Sprout Room gives toddlers a steady rhythm while still leaving room for play, comfort, and connection.
What Children Learn in the Sprout Room
The Sprout Room uses a balance of structure and play-based learning. Because children at this age learn best through repetition, movement, songs, stories, hands-on activities, and simple routines, teachers keep the day active and age-appropriate.
Children are encouraged to grow in:
- Independence
- Social skills
- Fine motor development
- Gross motor development

What a Day Looks Like in the Sprout Room
A predictable rhythm helps toddlers feel secure. Throughout the day, children in the Sprout Room enjoy free play, circle time, centers or art, snacks, bathroom routines, outdoor or gross motor play, music, story time, lunch, rest or quiet time, and pick-up.
This part time toddler program gives children structure without making the day feel too formal. They have time to play, move, listen, create, rest, and connect with caring teachers. As a result, toddlers begin to feel more comfortable with routines and classroom expectations.
Potty Training and Daily Care
The Sprout Room supports children who are still growing in independence with bathroom routines and self-help skills.
This part time toddler program gives children support with daily care while helping them practice independence at a gentle pace.
Children in this age group may still need pull-ups, bathroom reminders, or extra support during the day. Because every child develops at their own pace, teachers provide consistent routines and encouragement while partnering with parents through each child’s developmental stage.
A Safe and Supportive Toddler Room
Parents want to know their child has safety, love, and dependable care. That is why the Sprout Room focuses on trust, routine, and clear communication.
