A Gentle First Step Away From Home
The Seedling Room often gives children their first classroom experience. For this reason, we build the day around comfort, consistency, and connection.
In this part time toddler care setting, teachers give children time to adjust, explore safely, and build trust. Also, simple routines help little ones know what to expect, while play gives them room to learn in the way that comes most naturally.
The goal is not to rush development. Instead, we help each child feel safe, loved, and supported as they grow through part time toddler care that meets them where they are.
What Children Do in the Seedling Room
The Seedling Room uses play-based activities that support early development in a gentle and age-appropriate way. Throughout the day, children explore sensory play, songs, stories, language exposure, simple routines, fine and gross motor movement, outdoor play, and early social interaction.
Our part time toddler care gives young children a loving rhythm while leaving plenty of room for comfort, movement, rest, and free play.
In addition, the Seedling Room supports early growth through simple routines, sensory play, language exposure, movement, and safe exploration. This part time toddler care approach helps little ones learn through everyday moments, not pressure. Parents can also learn more about general toddler development milestones from the CDC.
Faith-Based Care for Little Hearts
Teachers introduce faith in simple, loving ways in the Seedling Room. Children may hear short Bible stories, listen to songs, pray together, and learn simple truths about God’s love.
This part time toddler care gives little ones a gentle introduction to faith through songs, prayer, kindness, and everyday classroom moments.
At this age, faith-based care stays gentle. Because little ones learn through everyday moments, teachers show kindness, patience, comfort, and loving guidance throughout the day.
Diapers, Rest Time, and Daily Care
The Seedling Room supports children who still need hands-on daily care. Teachers help with diapering, rest time, lunch routines, comfort, and age-appropriate transitions throughout the day.
Each child has an assigned cot for rest time. However, teachers do not force children to sleep. Children can rest or enjoy quiet activities when needed.
